Police are searching for a convicted sex offender who has disappeared from an open prison (minimum security prisons where inmates are trusted to complete their sentence).
Gary Butcher, 55, is serving a life sentence for aggravated robbery at HMP North Sea Camp in Boston, Lincolnshire, England.
She was reported missing shortly after 5.30am on Tuesday morning, and it is believed she may have traveled to the Leicestershire area.
Police described him as a white male with a stocky build, brown/grey hair and blue eyes.
He has a distinctive tattoo on his right arm and a “Phillip-Trina” tattoo on his left arm.
Police ask for any information on his whereabouts, warning members of the public not to approach him.
Senior investigating officer Detective Inspector Paul Coleman stated: “We are asking for your assistance in locating Gary Butcher, who was reported missing from North Sea Camp this morning.”
“If you have any information on his current whereabouts, please contact us immediately. If you see him, please do not go near him and instead call us at 101 citing incident number 37 of May 31 and if it is an emergency, dial 999.”
Earlier this year, another sex offender considered a “threat to women” disappeared from the same prison. Paul Robson, 56, was serving a life sentence when he left HMP North Sea Camp and fled on a bicycle.
He spent four days on the run before a member of the public saw him in Skegness and called the authorities, who then arrested him.
Robson was jailed for eight months after admitting to an escape charge.
