Just had a call from someone claiming to be from a company she identified as yellow Precious metal “-den choice”
Asking for me by name and saying they are calling about inspecting my home for hail/storm damage. (I am on the do not call list so legit companies do not call unless I have done business with them)
I asked where they were headquartered out of and she hung up on me. A search did not bring up the company anywhere.
SCAM all the way.
Fake “inspections” and getting down payments to set up repairs that they never provide is common this time of year.
Be wary of phone calls and door to door inspection people. If you think you have damage call a local contractor not someone coming by or calling. If someone comes by just say….Thanks for mentioning storm damage – I will call my contractor and have them check. Do not let them on your roof at all. Some will do damage to take a photo and show you to get you to hire them.
