For sure this is a scam but how does it work?
I was blind copied on an email saying a purchase has been authorized for a computer for $596.
The email says if you did not authorize, call the number provided.
Since I’m not named as the buying agent, I’m merely the bcc, and I do not recognize the “to” or “from”, why do scammers think I would be motivated to call the number??
I got two of these emails within 10 minutes of each other.
